Optical Fiber Repeater Equipment: Near-End Unit & Remote-End Unit
Product Overview
The Fiber Optic Repeater is specifically designed to address weak signal coverage in areas located far from base stations but with existing fiber optic infrastructure. This system consists of a near-end unit and a far-end unit: the near-end unit directly couples with the base station signal, converts the radio frequency signal into an optical signal, amplifies it, and transmits it via optical fiber to the far-end unit. The far-end unit then converts the received optical signal back into a radio frequency signal and delivers it to areas with insufficient network coverage. Meanwhile, mobile signals can also be amplified and transmitted back to the base station in the reverse direction.
