Product Overview
Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a high-performance, low-power, and cost-effective interconnection solution.
Composed of one optical cable and two optical transceivers, AOCs are widely used for short-distance interconnections in data centers.
The QSFP+ Active Optical Cable is a high-performance, low-power, and long-distance interconnection solution that supports InfiniBand QDR/DDR/SDR, 12.5G/10G/8G/4G/2G Fibre Channel, PCIe, and SAS. It complies with the QSFP MSA standard and IEEE P802.3ba standard. The QSFP AOC consists of four full-duplex channels, with each channel supporting data rates of up to 11.3 Gb/s and a total bandwidth of 45.2 Gb/s. As a parallel transceiver, QSFP+ AOC offers higher port density and overall system cost savings.
