40G DAC (Direct Attach Copper Cable )
Product Overview
DAC (Direct Attach Copper) high-speed cables consist of two optical transceivers and a segment of copper cable.
The 40G DAC QSFP+ copper direct-attach cable is designed for very short-distance connections, providing a highly cost-effective solution for establishing 40G links between QSFP+ ports of switches within the same cabinet or adjacent cabinets. These cables are optimized for 40GbE and InfiniBand standards to deliver maximum performance. The QSFP+ form factor addresses the growing need for high-density interconnect solutions in modern data centers and high-performance computing environments, offering a total data bandwidth of 40Gb/s. The interconnection system fully complies with industry standards including QSFP MSA and IBTA (InfiniBand Trade Association), and supports the bandwidth requirements of both IEEE 802.3ba (40Gb/s) and InfiniBand QDR (4×10Gb/s) specifications.
