ABS Box-Type Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer (CWDM)
Description
Fholink's CWDM is a low-cost WDM transmission technology designed for the access layer of metropolitan area networks (MANs). It uses an optical multiplexer to combine optical signals of different wavelengths onto a single fiber for transmission. At the receiving end of the link, a demultiplexer separates the mixed signals back into individual wavelengths. CWDM equipment offers low cost, compact size, no power supply requirement, and easy maintenance, significantly reducing the construction cost of fiber optic networks.
