FWDM (1310/1490/1550nm)
Description
FWDM is typically a three-port passive optical component consisting of one Common Port (COM) and two branch ports: the Pass Port (Transmission) and the Reflection Port (Reflect). It uses optical thin-film filters to select specific wavelengths: light within a specific band is transmitted (passes through), while light in other bands is reflected.
In practical applications, common wavelength combinations for FWDM are 1310nm, 1490nm, and 1550nm. When mixed light enters the Common Port, one specific wavelength is transmitted (Pass Port), while the other two wavelengths are directed out from the Reflection Port.
Fholink's FWDM filters utilize mature multi-cavity dielectric thin-film technology for optical filtering, offering excellent wavelength stability. They are hermetically sealed in steel tube packages, narrow-bar cases, or other custom-sized ABS boxes, ensuring high reliability.
