Guangxi Prefectural-level City Radio and Television Network Project
Project Background
Guangxi Radio and Television Information Network Co., Ltd. (Guangxi RTN) is a state-owned joint-stock cultural enterprise approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in May 2004, headquartered in Nanning. The company integrates the region's radio and television network assets, previously focusing on digital TV, internet access, and smart broadcasting services. It has 90 municipal and county branches. In 2016, it was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600936), becoming the first listed cultural enterprise in a national autonomous region.
This project involves a prefectural-level city branch of Guangxi RTN that needs to expand the fiber optic network between two counties.

Business Challenges
1. The distance between the two county data rooms is long, and the fiber link loss is high.
2. Existing fiber resources are limited; only two bare fiber cores are available.
3. The project must reserve capacity for future expansion.
Fholink Solution
1. Adopt Fholink's FH-DWDM WDM solution to build a wavelength-division multiplexing transmission system.
2. Use advanced WDM technology to transmit 4 channels of 10G over the two bare fiber cores.
3. Deploy necessary EDFA optical amplifiers to overcome high link loss.
Customer Benefits
1. Achieved bandwidth expansion using only limited fiber resources, greatly alleviating the customer's fiber shortage.
2. The passive WDM solution reduces construction costs by more than 50% compared to traditional OTN solutions.
3. Ample room for future expansion; no need for reconstruction within the next five years.
