Optical Transmission Project for Internal Network of a Customs Branch in North China

 

 

Project Background

 

In February 2026, a customs branch in North China contacted our company through an online platform. The branch has two office locations approximately 10 km apart, and both need to access the same internal network, requiring real-time data interconnection.

 

A single fiber core has been leased from the operator to connect the two campus data rooms. This single fiber core must be used to achieve real-time interconnection for multiple services.

 

 

 

Business Challenges

 

1. Only one bare fiber core is available, requiring transmission of multiple different service types with physical isolation.

2. The deployed equipment must be compact due to limited rack space.

3. The project budget is small, requiring a low‑cost solution to meet the transmission goals.

2. Use coarse wavelength division multiplexing technology with 20 nm channel spacing. Adjacent channel isolation ≥ 40 dB, crosstalk nearly 0.

3. Deploy a single‑fiber bidirectional transmission system, enabling multiple different optical signals to be transmitted simultaneously over the single core.
